Staff

All of our teachers are carefully chosen, thoroughly screened, references are checked and they must complete a criminal reference check including a vulnerable sector.  All teachers are trained in First Aid and CPR including infant and child. Each classroom has the required number of registered ECE’s and all teachers either have formal training in early childhood education or equivalent training and experience.  Our teachers engage in mandatory professional development by attending workshops on a consistent basis and attend learning and reflection meetings once a month.  Our policies and continued professional development are key for running a quality program.  All of our teachers are capable and passionate about children, learning and teaching.

My name is Carol Sideris and I am proud to serve the families of Dufferin County as the owner of Third Street Child Care Centres. We opened in August 2007 and have since grown to be one of the premier child centres in the region. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education and offer the highest quality of care and education.
